Small 16mo. Full leather, tree calf binding of Falconer's significant nautical poem describing a beleaguered ship and its fate. With b/w illustrations and a fold out diagram of a ship. Patrick O'Brian re-used some of Falconer's verse in his naval stories. Gilt decoration to spine. Rubbing and bumping to extremities, slight splitting to front hinge. Very light spotting within but generally clean. Binding sound. Good Condition.
