With numerous plates featuring artistic and architectural details, drawn from a variety of sources, including one coloured by hand. 4to. (280mmx220mm) Original calf boards handsomely and sympathetically rebacked with new leather spines with raised bands and gilt decoration. Inner and outer dentelles with marbled end-papers and page edges tinted red. Original boards have rubbing and marking and scratching commensurate to age. Some light occasional spotting throughout Some offsetting from plates. But otherwise a tight and clean set of what is a fascinating history of London.
