World war two guide for the recognition of British aircraft. Consisting of images of silhouettes of the planes, many with detailed drawings on the facing page and recognition details. To the rear is a colour guide to wing and rudder marking of aircraft of other nations. Bound in a Loxon loose-leaf binder. Individual entries were revised and reissued during the war, with plates dating from 1942-1945. 12mo. (200x150mm). Quarter cloth and card binding with original string and mechanism. Cover title pastedown has some slight tears and marking. Some tab dividers a slightly bumped, but entries are clean. Good overall.
