Complete with 2 fold out maps of Roman and Saxon Britain, 4 pull out genealogical trees of various royal houses and 5 b/w plates. Contemporary Full leather binding, raised bands and gilt decoration to spine. 8vo. [xxxii] 511pp. Front board very nearly detached. rear board moderately imperiled. Some loss to top of spine. Small tear to one of the one the fold out maps plus creases etc. Occasional light spotting within. But text-block good. Fair overall.
