A reproduction of William Pickering's elaborate 1853 edition, itself an imitation of Queen Elizabeth's prayer book of 1559. Bound in quarter leather with gilt decoation. Top edge gilt, other edges coloured green. With marbled paper by the great Ann Muir. Complete with slipcase. Small slight toning to ffep, else crisp and clean. Near fine.
